Connecting to Your Inner Voice
Mira and I asked again how we could help – Here’s the question Mira picked to answer:
“How do I further tap into my inner wisdom/intuition?
I have tried so many things, and am looking for
other tools to use to hone my intuitive side even more.”
Coloring has been my tool all my life and still is.
It’s boring enough, it’s repetitive enough. And it’s easy, because you don’t need to think about the outcome, pick the colors even with your eyes shut and just begin.
I typically first draw what I will color, so the thinking part has happened while I drew the picture and coloring can then be relaxing and I can set intention to call for love to come and help me with my struggle.
Meditation isn’t as efficient for me, it doesn’t calm my mind like coloring does.
Another way for me to get really still is to walk and look around. I get mesmerized by textures, shapes and colors of the trees I walk by, the puddles on the ground, the street lamps and the shadows they create. My thoughts get easily distracted by the beauty of nature and when I’m enchanted by it – My mind is at peace and that’s when the inner wisdom may surface.
I believe we all have our own ways of connecting with our intuition.
I’d love to know – What works for you?
