Doodle Notes
I’ll only take hope, joy, and love with me when I step into a bubble of Love.
To all thoughts of worry, despair, anxiety, grief, etc, I’ll say a happy goodbye.
I know they’ll come back when I return.
I’ll deal with them then. But now one of my loved ones needs me!
I won’t go into detail, but inspiration for this doodle came from a real-time crises that we are dealing with right now. There’s hope!
To be able to be there for a loved one through crises asks me to stay in the present moment. Nothing good comes from thinking ahead or delving in the past.
So, I’m stubbornly staying in the now, taking one step at a time, one day at a time, and take in all the lessons from Love that so many lovely, wonderful people teach me every day by offering to help.
Love truly expands!
My Inspiration & Delight
For some reason, this pattern I found on Ravelry became one that has always brought me joy. Crocheting mushrooms became something I went back to whenever I needed a moment for myself. It was also a great excuse for procrastination: “I’ll just go and crochet some more mushrooms…”
In the end, I made sixteen of them before Christmas and found great homes for all but two that I wanted to keep for myself. I can always make more!
