Just Some Musings
Greetings from this mesmerizing view.
When the sun set in a bit, the stars came out. There were no lights seen from any other cabin nearby, so we were the only humans around. And you could see so much more stars than in the city.
The sauna was warming up, you could smell wood smoke coming from the chimney. The nature was quiet, oh, so quiet. All the birds yet on their way back.
Our dog, Nani (a medium poodle), was crazy for the huge moose tracks we found in the snow while walking with snowshoes in the forest. But the tracks were old, no moose in sight.
And my mind got quiet, too.

This hot air balloon curiosly started with a first-aid kit...
I bought a new bag for our first-aid kit, but it didn't have any symbols on it that would tell what it was used for, so I thought I'd crochet a patch with a red cross for it.
Once I finished it, I showed it to my child, and they immediately said it's not allowed to use a red cross. I Googled the facts and decided to make a green cross instead.
Well, then I was left with a red piece that had four sides... I started playing with it and pulled the sides up and ended up crocheting them together. Now it was a little basket.
Well, what is a basket for!?
A hot air balloon, of course!
Inspiration sometimes comes from peculiar twists and turns...
...And now I wonder,
who could be flying this hot air balloon?
This pattern is my own, although, I made no notes as I proceeded, so there really is no pattern for this…
