Doodle Notes
With a fresh start comes forgiveness.
With a fresh start you forgive the past and look forward—filled with hope. You acknowledge what you left behind, but bless it, and let it stay in the past.
A fresh start makes it feel like no matter what your last cycle was like, it’s now processed.
When living cyclically, you gather what you need in the autumn and let go of the rest. You rest during the winter, but also process what you’ve learned, and dream of the future.
The more you dream, the closer the spring!
I feel ready for a fresh start now, but if you don’t, remember that healing takes as long as it takes. For me, it feels like my personal winter lasted for two years, and I’m finally ready for something new.
How does this brand-new year feel for you—are you ready for something new?
A Course in Miracles Journey Continues
It’s that time of the year when many of us activate or re-activate our studies of A Course in Miracles Workbook (which has a lesson for each of the 365 days).
I started a new Substack where I’ll occassionally post my musings, insights and illustrations from my multiple rounds of studying the Course.
Take a peek and subscribe, if you like!
My Inspiration & Delight
In December, I got totally hooked on crocheting and worked for Santa Claus frantically filling his sack with all kinds of crocheted cuties.
This little dude was addressed to one of my nieces, and as I have—now I can’t understand how (!!?)—missed all the capybara memes, I finally got to research these wonderful animals too!
I found this pattern on Etsy and crocheted two right away!
I enjoyed even the early stages that you can see in the first photo above, somehow these look cute even without all the details.
I tweaked the pattern so that the water is its own little stuffed piece, and I think it works!
