What’s Up in 2020?

We have a tradition here in Finland of melting tin in a pan on New Year’s Eve, then casting it into a bucket full of cold water. As a result the tin forms interesting shapes.

Next you take your tin and hold it so that you can see its shadow against a wall. What does that shape tell you?

This is how you predict what happens to you next year! It’s fun!

I typically see shapes of animals and this year I saw this interesting fellow on the wall. A skinny little fishbird.

Now I’m playing with it and asking it for more wisdom and it’s quite entertaining. His (it’s a he) message is very clear:

Stop guessing whether you are a fish or a bird, you can be both. Just stop worrying and start doing – or else your dreams will not come to fruition.

It’s time to make your dreams come true!

I’ve created a little booklet with the whole story he inspired me to write and draw and will post it on my elinap update on February 15th for all the subscribers.
